Corona, Nov. 29.--Mrs. Nathan [Mason] Terpening, 35 years old, the wife of the Corona city clerk, died at the family home here at 9:30 o'clock this evening following an illness of several weeks. No funeral arrangements have yet been made. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. W. S. Clayson; three brothers, Justice W. S. Clayson, and Street Superintendent M. E. Clayson of Corona, and Frank Clayson of Los Angeles; and two sisters, Mrs. Earl McDonald of Riverside, and Mrs. T. A. Fraser of Corona.

Sampson of Orange officiating, assisted by Rev. I. A. Engle. Interment was in Sunnyslope cemetery. Mrs. Terpening, wife of City Clerk Mason Terpening, passed away at 7 o'clock Tuesday evening at the family home on East Kendall street, following an illness of several months. During her many years' residence in Corona Mrs. Terpening had made many warm friends who will be grieved to learn of her untimely death. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. W. S. Clayson, two sisters, Mrs. T. A. Fraser and Mrs. Earl MacDonald of Riverside; three brothers, Judge Walter S. Clayson and M. E. Clayson of Corona and Dr. Frank Clayson of San Pedro.
