This rock is being used in the building of the army barracks at Rolla, Missouri [Fort Leonard Wood].

, Cedar Rapids-Iowa City, Iowa, June 6, 1996: Dell W. Frazer, 78, died Monday afternoon, June 3, 1996, in Mercy Hospital after a short illness. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, by the Rev. Robert Elam. Burial: Woodlawn Cemetery, with military rites. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; five sons, Pat of San Diego, Warner, Mike and Tom, all of Oelwein, and Gary of Fort Madison; a brother, James, and two sisters, Mardelle Loux and Evelyn Michels, all of Oelwein. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
