Gollaug Larsdatter, widow, is listed in the Emigrants from Trondheim 1867-1930 page# 296 line #3, as leaving Singsaas, Norway 9 June 1885, on the ship Tasso, with a destination of Canby, MN. Traveling with her were her son Lars 7 years old and daughter Hanna, 3/4 year old.
The ships passenger list for Gollaug, Lars and Hannah shows they left from Singsaas, going to Canby, MN on the Allan line ship Tasso, and they used the last name Sagmoe.

OBITUARY OF MRS. EDWARD SOMMERVOLD
Gullaug Ronningen was born the 10th of December, 1850 in Singsaas, Norway, her parents being Lars and Bereth Ronningen.
She was married to Hans Sagmoe, who died and she was left with two small children, Lars and Hanna, with whom she came to America in 1885 and settled in Lincoln County. The 6th of July 1889, she was married to Edward Sommervold. To this union were born four children, one, a boy, died in infancy. Those who together with the father, mourn the departure of a kind and loving wife and mother are Lars, Hanna, Oliver, Marie (Mrs. Gilmore) Johnson, and Bernt, and 14 grandchildren.
The last five or six years Mrs. Sommervold has been ailing, and the last three years, she has been confined to her bed. She died the 21st day of July, at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 12 days.
Funeral services were held at the home and at the Lutheran Free Church Thursday, July 24, Rev. E. L. Erickson officiating. She was laid to rest in the Lake Hendricks (East) cemetery.
The pallbearers were: Theodore Thoreson, Lars Thoreson, Peter Aune, Lars Aune, Lars Digre, and Christ Pederson, all nephews of Mrs. Sommervold.Emigrated to America in 1882.
