*Joan Menteith was the daughter of Sir John Menteith.
*She married, firstly, Malise, 7th Earl of Strathearn, son of Malise, 6th Earl of Strathearn and Agnes Comyn, circa 1323.
*She married, secondly, John Campbell, 1st and last Earl of Atholl, son of Sir Neil Campbell of Lochow and Lady Mary Bruce, between 1329 and 1333.
*She married, thirdly, Morice Moray, 1st Earl of Strathearn, son of Sir John Moray, after 11 July 1339, by dispensation.
*She married, fourthly, William de Moravia, 5th Earl of Sutherland, son of Kenneth de Moravia, 4th Earl of Sutherland and Margaret of Mar, before November 1347. She died after 1367.
*As a result of her marriage, Joan Menteith was styled as Countess of Atholl between 1329 and 1333.

Johanna Menteith was born about 1306 the daughter of [[Stewart-13721|Sir John Menteith]].
She married, firstly, as second wife to [[Strathearn-32|Malise, 7th Earl of Strathearn]], son of Malise, 6th Earl of Strathearn and Agnes Comyn, circa 1323. In 1323, Malise granted Joan the Barony of Cortachy in Angus and also lands at Dalkeith and Strathern. There was no surviving issue of this union.
Johanna married, secondly, [[Campbell-5639|John Campbell]], 1st and last Earl of Atholl, son of Sir Neil Campbell of Lochow and Lady Mary Bruce, between 1329 and 1333.
Johanna married, thirdly, [[Moray-50|Maurice Moray]], 1st Earl of Strathearn, son of Sir John Moray of Drumsagaret, after 11 July 1339, by dispensation. She continued to use the title Countess of Strathearn thereafter.
They had a daughter:
* Joanna assumed the title of Drumsagart possibly as liferentrix.
Joanna Countess of Strathearn married, fourthly, [[Sutherland-1243|William de Moravia]], 5th Earl of Sutherland, son of Kenneth de Moravia, 4th Earl of Sutherland and Margaret of Mar, before November 1347. William and Joanna had two sons:

* Kenneth

About 1362 when she confirmed a charter of her daughter, Lady Joanna Moray in favour of Walter Moray of the lands of Arthill in the barony of Cortachy she was designed Countess of Strathearn and lady of the barony of Cortachy. She did this in the free power of her widowhood. Laing Charters 379 item 2 see [https://archive.org/details/calendaroflaingc00edin/page/96/mode/2up] The comment on her widowhood would apply to her titles used there whereas she was at that time the widowed Countess of Sutherland.

She died after 1367.
