Don grew up at the homestead in Woodland, attended the Woodland school and graduated from Clearfield High School, class of 1948. He served many years in the Army Reserve. He worked most of his life as a blaster at Niagara Stone in Niagara Falls New York. He enjoys sports, always supporting The Buffalo Bills.
