David was the fourth child of Clay and Anna UNDERCOFLER, born in Woodland, Pennsylvania and attended the local school until his untimely dead at the age of eight from the effects of scarlet fever. He was affectionately called "Skippy" and memories of him never faded from the minds of his parents and family.
