Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Sloan entertained their friends and neighbors to the number of twenty five on last Tuesday in splended sytle. About one o'clock dinner was announced and all partook of a feast fit for a king. The afternoon was spent in a social manner. Miss Anna Sloan and Miss Emma Brenniman furnished some splendid music on the organ while a number of the company joined in the singing.
