Notice in the newspaper....Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock in the home of the brides' parents, Mr and Mrs Fred Breniman in Bear Creek Twp. occurred the marriage of Ella Breniman and Geo. U. Freese. The Rev. Louis Huebener of the Moravian Church at Harmony officiated.Wedding write up ... The home of Mrs. and Mrs. Fred Breniman, Sr., was the scene of a brilliant assemblage Wednesday evening, the occasion being the marriage of their daughter, Miss Ella Breniman, to Mr. George U. Frease. It was just eight o'clock when the strains of the wedding march were heard throughout the rooms, Miss. Grace Shifflett presiding at the organ, and a moment later the bride and groom descended the stairway, preceded by the officiating clergyman, and proceeded to the bow window that was festooned with beautiful flowers, where Rev. Louis Huebener pronounced the words that made them man and wife. Miss Lillie Breniman, sister of the bride acted in the capacity of bridesmaid and Mr. W. A. Frease, a cousin of the groom, officiated as best man. The bride was dressed in white organdy and wore brides' roses. The groom was attired in the conventional costume. Following the ceremony the assembled guests tendered their hearty congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Frease after which all were invited to the dining room where an elaborate wedding supper was served reflecting credit upon the hostess of the occasion.
Both of the contracting parties are so well known in this community that no introduction from our pen is necessary. The groom is a son of Mrs. and Mrs. Wm. Frease, a young man of good character, who has won the confidence and good will of a large circle of friends by his gentlemanly conduct and habits of thrift and industry. The bride is a young lady who bears an excellent reputation, and having been reared within a home where good influences have always prevailed, possesses those qualities of mind and heart that contributes so largely to a life of happiness and contentment. Both enjoy the respect and esteem of a host of friends who will join The Chronicle in wishing them a happy prosperous future, filled with all the blessings of a long and useful sojourn upon earth. The happy couple will reside for the present with the groom's parents near Harmony where he is engaged in farming operations with his father.
