(1805 - February, 1860)
1850 Henry County, Georgia census.
"I finished Jimmy's scrapbooks and in doing research for his book, I found, among Mama's records, the following information on her mother's siblings: William Columbus McCleskey married Dorothy Jane Eleanor Dulin on August 30, 1866 in Marshall County, Alabama. Jane was the youngest child of John C. and Celia Carroll Dulin. Other children of John C. and Celia Carroll Dulin were: 1. Amanda Dulin, married Henry Garmon ... their children were: Columbus, Martin, Gertrude (who married R. F. Gurney), Billy, and Carrie. 2. Martin ("Mart") Dulin - never married. 3. Lizzie Dulin who married a Mr. Bostain - their children were: Martha Jane, Babe, Ben and Dora. 4. Ben Dulin - never married. 5. John Dulin married Eliza Wood -they adopted "Willie" (Mama was told that this is the uncle for whom she was named and he gave her a $5.00 gold piece when she left Alabama - I still have it. Mama visited them once back in Alabama about 1902. I have a picture of John and Eliza). 6. Guy Dulin married Nancy - their children were: Leona, Nancy Jr., Buddie, Willie, and Jennie." (Margie Martin, March 2007.)
