Abraham Greer

"Abraham Greer is listed in the 1820 census of Greene County, Georgia. There are eight children (two additional sons and one daughter not located). He owned 33 slaves at that time. On the 1830 Georgia census, he has only one son at home and owns 25 slaves. By 1840 he is living in Noxubee County, Mississippi alone with 10 slaves. His wife died between 1830 and 1840.
