"Jane Haynes, born September 2, 1753 in Lunenburg County, Virginia, died September 26, 1812 in Neoshoa County, Mississippi, was the daughter of John Haynes (1731 - 1802) who married in 1752 Sarah Phelps (1732 - 1785). Notice closeness of death dates (of William and Mary Jane Greer). Makes one wonder if they died of a contagious disease." (ROYAL HERITAGE OF THE GREERS by Carolyn Beal, page 188A.)
