Young Henry Greer
(October 1, 1807 - Bet 1867 and 1870)
On the 6th day of April 1866, Young H. Greer recorded in Noxubee County Deed Book M, page 340, his indebitedness to his four sons. John B. was paid for 10 years at $300 per year plus $999 interest; F. T. was paid for 5 years, Alfonza for 4 years, and Patrick for 2 years. The total came to $7794 and to settle the debt he deeded 160 acres to the sons.
Young H. and Abraham Greer were partners in several land purchases in Noxubee County, Mississippi.

"Young Henry and Emily Greer lived outside of Ahuqualak on Sections 27 and 28, Township 13, Range 17. Emily was born in 1831 in Alabama and died , we believe, in Noxubee County, Mississippi. Death dates for both are still in progress. Children believed to have come to Texas about 1882, to Hill County, Texas. My granddad, William Oscar Greer said he came to Texas when he was about 15 years old." (Information about the family and descendants of Young H.
