Robert Greer

Robert Greer came to Mississippi from Troupe County, Georgia in 1838. He purchased land in Noxubee County, Mississippi in Sections 13 and 24, T 13 R 17E. He was not a large land owner. His holdings were close to those of William, John H., Young H. and Abram. His sons, William, Abraham, and Thadius joined the Confederacy. This family removed from Noxubee County prior to 1860.
