Individual Details
Andrew Jackson "Jack" Hanson
(August 5, 1838 - June 6, 1917)
(NOTE FROM RALPH TERRY: Early research showed that Andrew Jackson Hanson was born in Jackson, Alabama, which is in Mobile County. Later, I found that he was not born in Jackson, but Jacksonville, Alabama, which is in Calhoun County. The Hansons never lived in Mobile County, Alabama, but due to this early research error, the "Mobile County" connection is still found in some early information that I produced about the Hanson family. Such is recorded history ... it is hard to correct errors, once published!)

"Jim" Hanson; Texas Pension Records, information from Lela Miller; Death Certificate from Haskell County, Texas.
(NOTE FROM RALPH TERRY: I talked to Hob Smith of Smith Funeral Home in Knox City, Texas in 1978, to try to locate the grave of Andrew Jackson Hanson. Hob was very old at the time, but had no records of a burial for Andrew Jackson Hanson. I had a stone placed near the flagpole at the cemetery for Andrew Jackson about 1985.)
Emsley Hanson gave a second daughter of Andrew Jackson Hanson and Adeline McCaleb, who he called Mae. No one else had heard of her and Emsley's brother, Jim (James M. Hanson), said Exie was the only child.
