Husband of Lovie Bigham. Son of Coleman Hewitt and Mary Emma Maddox.
William Howard Hewitt, 73, of Rt. 1, Samantha died last night at the Druid City Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Hagood Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife; seven sons, John D. Hewitt of Texas City, Tex., Jack Hewitt of Cottondale, Russell Hewitt of Tuscaloosa, James H. Hewitt, Earl L. Hewitt and George Hewitt, all of Northport, and Billy Raymond Hewitt of Detroit, Mich.; four sisters; 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Thurman Reed, Leonard skelton, Clarence Bigham, John Henry Bigham, Richard Bigham and Robert Bigham.
