Edward Thomas Feldhausen known to his
Family and friends as "Shorty" was born
July 24, 1919, a son of Morse and Elsie
Feldhausen.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II
and was a member of the American Legion,
the V.F.W. and the Masonic Lodge, all of
Frankfort, Kansas.
Edward was married to Emma Margaret
Cooper, February 3, 1945. They lived in
Florida several years before moving to
Frankfort.
He was preceded in death by his father,
Morse Feldhausen on June 2, 1972 and
his wife, Emma in March 1977.
Edward is survived by his mother, Elsie,
with whom he had been living since the
death of his wife; four sisters, Doris, Fern,
Marjorie, Verla and three brothers, Marion,
Jack, and Art and several loving nieces and
nephews.
Edward operated several businesses in
Frankfort before moving to Oklahoma City
where he resided for a number of years before
coming back to live with his mother in his
native Frankfort.
Shorty was a friendly, interesting person who
loved to visit with people and was not had to
get acquainted with.
He entered the Blue Valley Nursing Home in
Blue Rapids a short time ago and passed away
there Friday, January 27, 1978.
Memorial services were held Sunday, January
29, 1978 at 2:00 p.m. at the Padden Funeral
Chapel with Reverend Coyne Gifford
officiating.
Casket bearers were Bob Feldhausen, Jim
Feldhausen, George Feldhausen Jr., John
Anderson and Cifford Feldhausen and
Ted Anderson.
Burial was in Frankfort Cemetery,
Frankfort, Kansas.
