Ann Rolfe

Ann Rolfe Foster was born in Great Milton, Oxfordshire, England to Edmund Rolfe and Sarah Clayden. She immigrated to Waterford, Oakland Co., Michigan with her family in 1852. In the fall of 1858 Ann married Charles Henry Foster and they became the parents of Sarah E. 'Liddie'; Charles Henry Jr., Anne Zooley, Nora Alberta, and Stephen George Foster. They raised their family on a farm in Maple Grove Township, Saginaw Co., Michigan. In 1882 the Fosters moved with their children by wagon train to Idaho where they settled in the Teton Basin. Ann died at the home of her daughter Liddie, in Monida, Beaverhead Co., Montana and was taken to Sutton Cemetery at Archer, Idaho for burial.
