Sarah Elizabeth Foster
(5 Sep 1859 - 30 Oct 1918)
Sarah married first on July 19, 1877 at Maple Grove, Saginaw Co., Michigan to Albert Safford. They were the parents of Ida Mae; Floyd Henry; Oscar Warren; George Adelbert and Ernest Albert Safford. Albert died in Teton Co., Idaho in 1890. Albert was buried in a field along with about 4 other relatives. Cultivation and heavy rains uncovered the graves and they were moved to more appropriate cemeteries. Albert and son Ernest were shipped to Eden,Jerome, Idaho and reburied in the Hazelton Cemetery. Family visited the graves in early 60's, but since then markers have become weathered beyond able to read, or disappeared altogether. Also buried in (Eden) Cemetery is Albert and Sarah's infant grandson, Floyd Safford, son of George and Martha Safford. Death certifcate for Floyd has name: Floy Stafford son of George Stafford and Martha Christensen, buried Hazelton Cemetery near Eden.
Sarah married 2nd to Richard Thomas (or Thomas Richard )Bingham, on September 1, 1891 in the Teton Basin, Bingham, co.,Idaho, and they became the parents of Charles Columbus, John Rueben, and Thomas Brian Bingham. This marriage ended in divorce as well as Sarah's following marriages to Frank B. Jones on January 1, 1907 and last marriage to William Spears from Beaverhead, Montana. They married 8 Nov 1908 in Humphrey, Fremont Co., Idaho. Upon her death her body was claimed by Mr. Bingham.
