Robert R. Wilson, 53, Waterloo, Iowa, formerly of Frankfort, Kansas died Sunday, January 10, 1993, at a Waterloo hospital.
Mr. Wilson was a machine operator and worked for Land ‘O' Lakes in Waterloo for 11 years.
He was born October 17, 1939, in Denver, Colorado, the son of Orville and Maude (Steele) Wilson. He graduated from Frankfort High School in 1957. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father Orville Wilson, on November 12, 1992, and a brother, Edward, on August 31, 1992.
He was married to Verla Feldhausen August 31, 1957 in Vliets, Kansas. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Penny Ramthun, Aurora, Colorado; three sons, Rodney Wilson, Frankfort, Kansas; Gary Wilson, Chicago, Illinois; and Eddie Wilson, Waterloo, Iowa; his mother Maude Wilson, Frankfort, Kansas; and six grandchildren.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. January 13, 1993, at Padden Funeral Chapel in Frankfort Kansas, with the Reverend Bruce Emmett officiating.
Lorene Shearer accompanied by Eunice Samuelson sang "Nearer My God to Thee" a tape of Penny and Verla singing "How Great Thou Art" was played.
Pallbearers were John McAdams, Rodney, Gary and Eddie Wilson, Ronnie, Alan and Bill Feldhausen.
Burial was in Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort, Kansas.
