Edward Lee Wilson, 47, of Topeka, Kansas passed away Monday, August 31, 1992 at St. Francis Hospital, Topeka, Kansas. He was born January 8, 1945 at Clarinda, Iowa, the son of James Orville and Maude Pearl (Steele) Wilson.
He graduated from Frankfort High School and received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University in December of 1978.
Mr. Wilson lived in Topeka, Kansas for the past 17 ½ years and was a Highway Engineer for the Federal Highway Administration. He attended Northland Christian Church of Topeka and was a member of Kansas State University Alumni Association, American Society of Civil Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, Chi Epsilon, Kansas Association for Uniform Traffic Control, and Kansas for Highway Safety.
He was married to Patricia L. Haag on August 7, 1967 at Manhattan, Kansas. She survives of the home.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Katherine L. Wilson and Deborah L. Wilson both of the home; his parents James Orville and Maude P. Wilson, Frankfort, Kansas; a brother Robert Wilson, Waterloo, Iowa; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 1992 at Northland Christian Church; following by services at 1:00 p.m.
Thursday at Padden Funeral Chapel, Frankfort, Kansas with Reverend Rusty L. Rogers officiating at both services.
Interment was in Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort, Kansas.
