Aphrodite Semetis Honored at Shower

Alt name

Georgia was affectionately referred to as "Ginger" by many people in her family. In April 2020, I asked her how she was given that name. She said it all started on a Holy Saturday (the day before Easter). She had gone to the hairdresser, and when she was with family that weekend people said that her hair looked like that of Ginger Rogers, a famous actress of that era. Her husband, Al, started calling her "Ging" and "Ginger," and the name stuck.
