Mary Koleber died at WaKeeney Manor Tuesday evening, March 27.Services are pending at press time.
She was the mother of Mrs. John Nowlin of WaKeeney."

"Mary Koleber, daughter of Jake and Mary Margheim, was born in Barton County on March 4, 1898 and departed the cares of this life at the WaKeeney Manor on March 27, 1979 at the age of 81 years, 23 days.
She was united in marriage to George Koleber on March 28, 1915. To this union ten children were born.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three children, six brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include three sons: Edward, Carlsbad, Calif.; Earnie, Lawrence; Robert, Lander, Wyo.; four daughters: Mrs. John (Hermina) Nowlin, WaKeeney; Mrs. Ted (Alvina) Niven, Delta Junction, Ak.; Mrs.Wesley (Martha) Kroeger, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Clarence (Esther) McCann, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at Hendricks Funeral Home on March 31 with the Rev. Clinton McDonald officiating. Burial was in the WaKeeney City Cemetery."
