Mary Elizabeth BACON
(Abt 1848 - 4 Nov 1872)
1 Jun 1870, Pittsford, Rutland Co., VT. Page 87, dwelling 279:
George N. Brown, 25 (1844-45), farmer born VT. Real estate owned of $4, 000, personal estate of $1, 000
Mary E. Brown, 22 (1847-48), born VT
George N. Brown Jr., 4 (1865-66), born VT
Mary A. Brown, 3 (1866-67), born VT
Cora G. Brown, 3/12, born Mar 1870, born VT
Betsey E. Brown, 64 (1805-06), born VT, Boarding
In a conversation with Barbara Duncan Fridlund April, 2000, she recalled that she had been told Mary died when her daughter Agnes was born, or shortly after. Since 1870 census shows her alive then and another baby age 3/12, probably Mary died shortly after the census or Agnes was not Mary A. and was born after Cora.
