There are several Solomon Barfields:
1. A Solomon that married Margaret Whitfield abt 1749
2. A Solomon that married Sarah Crow - In census 1790, 1800, 1810 Wayne Co. NC
2. A son of Jesse and Sarah that was shot and killed in 1781, never married.
3. A Solomon that married Mariam Bundy abt 1794
4. A Solomon, named a son in Samuel Barfield's will of 1795, Bertie Co.

Connerly to his son Cullen Connerly & since conveyed by sd. Cullen Connerly to JESSE BARFIELD who sold sd. land to Constance Whitfield.; (2) 100A on the SS of the Northeast on Rattlesnake Branch, which was formerly granted to Edward Rollins by patent dated 20 Sep 1753; (3) 100A adj. the 2nd piece formerly granted to SOLOMON BARFIELD by patent dated 15 Mar. 1756, the last 2 tracts being sold to Constance Whitfield by William Graddy & JESSE BEARFIELD; (4) 100A on ....... All 4 tracts of 421A was conveyed .... Henry Goodman deeded the same 421A to STEPHEN BEARFIELD 25 Oct 1785 & sd. STEPHEN deed to David Cannon 16 Nov. 1785. Wit: William Dickson, John Nichols.
