Sherburne County Star News
April 18 1895
Died, at Big Lake, April 15, Jennie E, wife of M H Dike. She was the oldest daughter of Mr and Mrs John E Putnam, and her unexpected death has cast a gloom over the community. All hearts are in sympathy with the aged parents, brothers and sisters and especially the bereaved husband who is left thus with seven children. Mrs Dike has always been a willing worker among us, one whose hands have been with us in church work. We shall miss her every place - at social and church. The funeral was held at the church yesterday afternoon.
