Vol. 45, page 167-169 Coryell County Deed Records:On 11-26-1906, T.V. and J.B. Hood, his wife, sold to C.S. Coleman and M.F. Johnson 202 and 8/10 acres of land in the Tobias Kelley Survey and 184 and 1/4 acres of land in the Mary Hawley Survey.
The purchase was paid by $4140 cash from C.S. Coleman and $1000 cash from G.W. Coleman for C.S. Coleman and M.F. Johnson and by 7 notes given by C.S. Coleman, M.F. and J.E. Johnson at 8% interest and payable as : $800 due 1-1-1907; $900 due 1-1-1908; $1000 due on 1-1 of 1909, 1910, and 1911; $1100 due 1-1-1912; and $1200 due 1-1-1913.

Vol. 107, page 105 Coryell County Deed Records:On 11-16-1926, G.G. and Minnie Johnson sold 105 acres of land in the Tobias Kelley Survey to Mrs. M.F. Johnson for $3725 in cash; and Mrs. M.F. Johnson also assumed the balance due on a $5000 note owed to the Federal Land Bank of Houston, as well as nine notes totalling $4400 owed to J.E. and M.F. Johnson from the 4-22-1924 purchase of this property by G.G. and Minnie Johnson from J.E. and M.F. Johnson.

Mary F. Johnson's Will was made on 4-3-1941, filed for record on 6-4-1945, and witnessed by Mrs. W. A. Green and T. W. King.The will mentions her children:
Harry Herbert Johnson, Johnnie George Johnson, Ernest Homer Johnson, Frank Winston Johnson, Charlie Coleman Johnson, and Gussie Gibson Johnson
All of her real and personal property remaining after the payment of her debts was to be divided equally between the mentioned children except both her son Johnnie George Johnson and her son Ernest Homer Johnson are to each get $600.00 more than the other children (this was to repay them for the same amount they gave her to use for improvements to her property.)
The value of her estate was $12,100, most of this value was in land, with $2700 assigned to household goods and cash.
Executor- Harry Johnson and if he could not serve then her son Harry Herbert Johnson were designated in her will.
Her son Harry Herbert Johnson actually served as executor due to the death of Harry Johnson prior to Mary Frances Johnson's death.
