Castleberry dated 8-25-1916: one for $175 due in 1918, one for $225 due in 1919, and one for $250 due in 1920.

Johnson for $13,125 to be paid by $3725 cash received, and ten notes the first for $5000 due 5-1-1924, the second for $400 due 1-1-1926, and eight other notes for $500 payable on 1-1 of the following years, all notes at 6% interest.

Vol. 102, page 144 Coryell County Deed Records:On 5-28-1924, G.W. Lee and A.L. Lee gave an affidavit stating: that they have lived near Oglesby, Coryell County since 1883 and since 1883 they have known the 210 acre tract of land in the Tobias Kelley Survey, about 2 or 3 miles south of Oglesby, owned by J.E. Johnson, who has had open possession of the property and maintained a good substantial fence there the entire time; G.G. Johnson now owns 105 acres of this land since 4-22-1924 and he has maintained clear title and a good fence since that time.

Vol. 102, page 166-167 Coryell County Deed Records:On 6-3-1924, J.E. Johnson sold his claim to a lien on 105 acres of land in the Tobias Kelley Survey sold to G.G. and Minnie Johnson. He received $4750 from the Federal Land Bank of Houston as payment on a $5000 note made to that bank by G.G. and Minnie Johnson.
J.E. Johnson retains his claim to the property secured by notes made by G.G. and Minnie Johnson to J.E. Johnson, but his lien is inferior to the bank lien.
