Cordova is not on the 1870 US Census in Fannin County TX with the rest of her family - according to her Death Certificate she was born in September of that year, so should not have been there.
In 1880: Cordova listed in the FamilySearch Census transcript as age 9.

In 1900, she as listed as "Cordy" in the Census.
Found Birthday Card from Cordie to dear Bud Joe postmarked 27 Jul 1950 from Quanah, Hardeman County, TX.

[Mrs. J. A. Pickens, sister, was the only sibling still living when J. B. Haden died, 1953.]

Cordova Haden Pickens died 4 Dec 1961 at Quanah, Hardeman Co. She was born 1 Sep 1870 in Ladonia, TX.
Cordova died of a "vascular accident" - she had had a stroke a week previously. The informant for the death certificate was her daughter, Mrs. R. L. Watt. Mrs. Watt did not known Cordova's father's given name but did list her mother as Mary Jane Pickens. Cordova is buried Quanah Cemetery.
