According to the HISTORY OF ALBEMARLE CO, Arthur Jr went to Kentucky; died unmarried. He apparently instead went to Pittsylvania Co and had descendants.

Clement's HISTORY OF PITTSYLVANIA CO VA Gives the marriage to Judith Jefferson and lists issue: James Hopkins who inherited the family home in Pittsylvania, among others.

26 Sep 1776 Pittsylvania Co VA Will of Arthur Hopkins presented in Court by Samuel Calland the surviving Executor. Probate granted.
Arthur Hopkins of Pittsylvania Co. At the age of 21 years, my dear sons, James Hopkins and Samuel Hopkins. This tract of land I dwell on to be sold & the money to be equally divided between my four children: James, Samuel, Frances and Jean. Also all my personal estate after debts are paid. John Smith & Samuel Calland to be Executors. 18 Oct 1775. Signed: Arthur Hopkins.
