Rebeckah Owings was the daughter of Joshua and Reganah Speers Owings who moved to the Drakes Creek area bout 1804 from Bourbon Co KY. Joshua was the son of Rev. Richards Owings and wife Rachel, of Baltimore Co MD. Reganah Speers was the daughter of Henry Speers of Washington Co, PA.
