Henry Winkler, late of Randolph County died intestate having property which may to lost or destroyed or diminished in value if speedy care is not taken of. James Emberson (sic - Emerson) appointed Administrator of all goods & Chattels of said Henry Winkler at the time of his death with full power & authority to secure and dispose of said property according to law.
[Note: the largest creditor was often appoint administrator - the following notes that James Emerson did hold a mortgage against the property.]
