Do you know the circumstances: Johnson was to cure Haden of the consumption or he was not to be paid. Peter Clemmons drew up the contracgt
What was the situation of Haden. His health appeared to be very bad
What professions did Johnson make? He could cure him in three weeks time
In my opinion Johnson was a quack and not at all able to perform his promises
Did Johnson attend to said Haden? He never called to see Haden but once. I talked to Johnson & he gave a slight & careless answer. I believe he entirely abandoned Haden thereafter
Did Haden improve in any degree? His health did not improve in the least
Eunice Clemmon agrees with her husband. She stated she belived Johnson visited Haden once & afterwards entirely neglected him.
