Moses Moore of Clanton AL, born 14 Jun 1824 in Autauga Co, entered the service as a Private, Feb 1862 at Robinson Springs in Company B, Hilliard's Legion and continued until paroled at Appomattox VA on 9 Apr 1865

IN MEMORY - The death angel visited the home of my dear grandfather, Moses Moore, on April 12 1910, and carried him to the "Great Beyond." He leaves a wife, four daughters and two sons, and a host of grandchildren to mourn his loss. He was 87 years old and has been a member of the Baptist Church 25 years. He was laid to rest at his old home cemetery. He was confined to his bed a year and five months before the end come. He is sleeping, sweetly sleeping with our blessed Jesus. Oh how we miss him, there is a vacant place that can't be filled. It is God's will that we must be parted for awhile, and in sweet submission we will say, Our Father's will be done:
