Price sells 111 acres to John Price, Sr. on the waters of the Gasper River and describes: part of a Military Tract of 1400 acres entered & surveyed by John Harvey, patented to Thos. Carneal & Thos. Hopkins; allotted to Geo. W. Morton as share of estate of William Morton, father to sd George. Deeded by George to Andrew Caldwell and by Caldwell to David Price and by David Price to Major Price.

22 Jan 1824 Deed Book M, p.182 George W. Morton pledged two tracts of lands, slaves, etc. to Andrew Caldwell, Danl C. Caldwell & Abraham B. Morton as security for their signatures on his bond of $20,000 as Administrator of the estate of James Haden and the estates James was administering - those of William Morton, William Haden & John M. Haden. These gentlemen released the obligation 28 Sep of the same year.
