18 Aug 1824 Logan Co Deed Book M, p.396 Sarah Morton of Fayette Co. sold her inheritance from her father William Morton [Lot #7) to her brother Abraham for $1400.

p.87 By decree of Fayette County Court on 21 Mar 1835 on a petition of George W. Morton, Commr. For Sarah Morton. Ordered that the land in said petition be sold and George W. Morton was directed to make sale. 17 Jan 1836 land was sold to William C. M. G. Green for $900. This Indenture made 28 Feb 1839 between George W. Morton Commr of Sarah Morton and William C. M. G. Green. Tract in Logan Co on Waters of Gasper of 200 acres being the tract allotted and conveyed to Sarah Morton by Commissioners who divided the lands of her deceased father William Morton among the heirs. Begin at stake in Longs Military line, corner to #8 in the Allotment, stake in Marshalls line, stake in Reuben Longs Military line. Signed: Geo. W. Morton.
