Telitha married Jordan Middleton before 1830 when they are found in Carroll Co, TN, living next door to the widowed Nancy Goodman and Ephraim & Nancy Goodman Comstock. He was probably kin to Catherine Middleton, wife of Lemuel Goodman.

Belle White and Robert M. White were married 1880, in Wayne Co where she has lived ever since. They lived together until Sept 1892, when he deserted her going to the state of Texas, leaving her with three children to raise. Her father Jordan Middleton died in 1878 seized of 5 tracts of land. [Anderson Middleton was administrator of his father's estate.]
Jordan Middleton's lawful children were

7. Mary Prentiss, who died in 1884, leaving heirs - her husband Riley Printess and Frank, Ed, and Nona Printess.
[three children from the census records must have died without heirs - Harris, Caswell and William]
Jordan Middleton left a widow who lived on the land until her death in 1896.
William & Emily Morris claim that Belle White's undivided 1/7 interest is theirs by a deed purported to have been executed by Belle and Robert M. White.
Complainant asks for a guardian ad litem for the minor defendants and that the bonds of matrimony uniting complainant and Robert W. White be dissolved.
Indenture dated 21 Nov 1885 between S. H. Sinclair and J. H. Middleton and his sister Emily Middleton sold to Sinclair, a tract in Wayne Co, on Indian Creek.
6 Jan 1879, 3/7 in trust sold by sheriff of Hardin Co TN. [mortgage? or back taxes?] 1/7 the property of J. W. Middleton, and 2/7 the property of J. H. Middleton. J. H. Middleton redeemed his two shares, paying in full, 25 Dec 1880.
19 May 1884. N. D. Gillis to J. H. Middleton and his sister Emily Middleton, tract on Indian Creek, part of 3/7 interest in tract sold by Sheriff of Hardin Co and sold 6 Jan 1879.
Complainant moved to dismiss her bill as far as seeking a divorce.
R. A. Haggard was appointed guardian ad litem to the minor heirs.
25 Nov 1898.
Deposition by Samuel Sinclair, age 59. Stated he conveyed to J. H. Middleton and Mrs. Emily Morris [then Emily Middleton], 85 acres out of 114. Frank, Ed & Nona Printess each own one third of one seventh in the five tracts. Land is only adapted to farming.
Andrew Mulery, age 41. J. H. Middleton & Mrs. Emily Morris and the Printess children own the land. John and Ance Middleton, Mrs. Mirah Roach and Mrs. White, sold their interest to J. H. Middleton and Mrs. Morris.
27 Mar 1899. Decree of sale to highest bidder. Four tracts were struck off and sold to J. H. Middleton.
