WPA  Maury Co TN  Wills & Minutes   Vol 1, Book B  1810-1825
[Minutes of the court concerning work on the roads of the county]
July 1822 p.412  Adam Klyce overseer of road in forks of the road near Pillows Mill leading to Col. Johnsons about 3 miles to a branch.  Aza Goodman, Tisha Goodman, John Goodman, William Goodman, Kemp Goodman among hands
19 Apr 1824 Elijah Pryton [Payton] overseer of road from forks of road near Pillow's Mill leading to Johnson about 3 m to branch: Ozo [Asa] Goodman, Bisha Goodman, John Goodman, William Goodman among hands
These two road orders would seem to suggest an earlier Asa Goodman - Asa Davidson Goodman, son of Alexander was born 1810 so would have been only 12-14 above.
