( - 1821)

John Rice Senr named a daughter as Mary Rice in his will. He also named one of the executors as his son-in-law, John Rice. Evidently his daughter Mary had married still another John Rice.

Mary and John are said to have had seven children including sons Benjamin, John and Simeon, who inherited their father's land.. In 1804, John Rice Sr, John Rice Jr and Benjamin Rice were all in a tax list in Wilson Co.
