The Mabry book states that Mary Frances died in Pulaski Co VA in 1915. "Blue Ridge Heritage" states that she died 21 Dec 1929 and is buried Belmont Cemetery near Christiansburg in Montgomery Co VA. FindAGrave has the same date as the book, and a photo of her grave marker.

Mary F. Spence died at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co on 20 Dec 1929. She was the wife of Isham Spence. She was about 88, her birth unknown, but born in Carroll Co, VA. "Died sudden". Parents were Joshua Masby & Polly Huff, both born Carroll Co, VA. W. S. Spence of Cambria was the informant. Buried on Dec 22nd in the Cambria area.
