Dr. Daniel C. Caldwell

Daniel attended Transylvania Univ and the medical school at the University of PA, granduating in 1811. He returned to Russellville, Logan Co KY to practice.
The stones in Perry Cemetery, sometimes called the Caldwell-Morton cemetery, had stones, flat slabs on the ground, which have become very difficult to read. Some of the dates cited in the Logan Co Cemetery Book are from earlier readings of this cemetery.
Settlement of estate of Daniel Caldwell dated 8 Feb 1842 mentions Widow Elizabeth and Mary Caldwell only. Adm: David King.
Suit of John Grubbs vs. D. C. Caldwell's heirs names only Elizabeth Caldwell, widow; Mary Caldwell, daughter. Suit to obtain deed for land bought before his death. Filed 12 Jun 1839.
