Henry Fox will. First, all just debts to be paid.
All the residue real & personal to be kept together upon my plantation, unless deemed best to hire any of the slaves to support, maintain & education my younger children: Benjamin Park Fox, Julian Franklin Fox, Priscilla Taylor Fox, Henry Jones Fox and Maidson Harrison Fox, and for the support of my dear wife, Sarah Fox until the 1st day of Dec 1827.
After that date - Sarah to have one third of slaves & personal estate and the use & occupation of my lands during her natural life. The other 2/3 to be equally divided between all my children: John Fox, William fox, Arthur Fox, Betsey Stone, Sally Stone, Peggy Woods Fox, Benjamin Park Fox, Julian Franklin Fox, Priscilla Taylor Fox, Henry Jones Fox, Madison Harrison Fox, and an equal share to the children of my daughter Martha C. Harris and an equal share to the children of my daughter Jane Bettersworth. My daughters Betsey Stone & Sally Stone are also to receive $100 dollars each less than the other children, having already received that amount more.
After the death of wife Sarah, remaining third and all lands to be equally divided among all my children who may be then living and the issue of any that may be deceased.
If my daughter Peggy marries before 1 Dec 1827, she is to be given a feather bed and furniture above what is devised.
