Someone has entered a FindAGrave Memorial that makes no sense and claims he was born 27 Feb 1761, died 11 Apr 1791, served as a private in the Illinois Militia during the Revolution. Said buried MacKoy-Old Chriatian Churchyard, Siloam, Greenup Co, KY. Memorial# 29430170. This page is being attached to various Ancestry databases but it must surely be a different Arthur Fox.

This Arthur Fox has an Application for a military headstone, in the database on Ancestry, U.S., Headstone Applications for Military Veterans, 1925-1963.
The app states that Arthur Fox was a private in the Virginia Troops and is buried Baptist Cemetery near Maysville, Mason Co, KY. She states his stone is very old and time worn. Mrs. Clarence L. Wood was the applicant, 27 Mar 1929. A note says "ver. DAR 6-11-30".
