Shubael Stearns II

Shubal, II, removed to Tolland CT about 1714. He was the first Town Clerk. About 1750, he left with his sons and daughters and their families and settled near Newbern, NC. They were early members of the Baptist church and left Connecticut because of ecclesiastical difficulties.
