There may have been another son. On FamilySearch in the Virginia Deaths and Burials database there is the record of Peter H. Jackson who died 25 Jun 1870, Chesterfield Co, VA - he was age 71, born in 1799 in Chesterfield. Lists his parents as Steward (sic) Jackson and Elizth. Jackson.
