Miss Mary Clare Burleson, daughter of Mrs. D. J. Burleson and the late Mr. Burleson, became the bride of Graydon Earl Comstock, son of Mr. & Mrs. K. M. Comstock, at an impressive ceremony Saturday evening, June 25, at 8 o'clock at First Baptist church. Rev. Blake Smith, pastor, officiated.
Nuptial music was in charge of Miss Mildred Gregg....
While the candles were being lighted by Jo Ellen Comstock, sister of the groom, and Marjoie Fugitt, Miss Gregg played Tocselles' Serenade. Miss Comstock wore a pink embroidered mousseline de sole over pink taffeta and minute gladioli were in her hair....
Miss Carrie Jean Hall, cousin of the bride, was her bridesmaid.
K. M. Comstock, Jr., served his brother as best man....
Mrs. K. M. Comstock, the groom's mother, wore beige and copper chiffon with white accessories and she had a corsage of white carnations....
Mr. an Mrs. Comstock left immediately on a short trip after which they will be at home at 502 Washington...
One of the most popular girls in Fayetteville, the bride is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She taught one year in the city schools.
Mr. Comstock attended the university and for the past three years has been employed with the McIlroy Bank & Trust company.

Burleson & son Gaston of Hamilton, Ala., Mrs. Lilian Sayer and Miss Carrie Jean Hall of Carney, Cy Carney Jr & Kathryn of Rudy, Mr. & Mrs. A. W. Hays and Mrs. James Buchanon of Muskogee, Okla.; Mr. & Mrs. Ira Comstock, J. J. Hays, Mr. & Mrs. Lester Delzell and children, L.C, & Colleen Ellen, of Van Buren.

Fayetteville .... Mary Clare Burleson Comstock, 83, of Fayetteville died Dec. 19, 1999, at Butterfield Trail Village. She was born May 22, 1916, in Auburn, Ala. to David J. and Alice Jewel Wesson Burleson. She graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1937 and taught in the Fayetteville school system for several years before moving in 1960 to Siloam Springs, returning to Fayetteville in 1988. She was a member of PEO and Pi Beta Phi soroity.
Survivors include two sons Graydon Earl Comstock Jr. and David Allen Comstock; one daughter Mary Alice Comstock; two granddaughters; one great-grandson.
Services will be at 10 AM Wednesday at First Christian Church in Fayetteville with Dr. James D. Johnson officiating. Private burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Beard's Chapel in Fayetteville with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m.
