Graydon and Clare were married at the First Baptist church. Jo Ellen Comstock let the candles; she wore a pink embroidered mousseline de soie over pink taffeta with minuet gladioli in her hair. K. M. Comstock, Jr. was best man for his brother; Jay Comstock was one of the groomsmen. My grandmother, the groom's mother, wore beige and copper chiffon with white accessories and had a corsage of white carnations. The bride was a graduate of the University of Arkansas, and member of Pi Beta Phi sorority and had taught one year in the city schools. Graydon had attended the University and had been employed at McIlroy Bank and Trust Co. for three years.
Family members among the out of town guests were Cy Carney Jr. & Katheryn of Rudy; Mr. & Mrs. A. W. Hays & Mrs. James Buchanan of Muskogee; Mr. & Mrs Ira Comstock and J. J. Hays; Mr. & Mrs. Lester Delzell and children, L. C. and Colleen Ellen of Van Buren.

Civic Leader, Retired Banker Dies at Age 74
Siloam Springs. Graydon E. Comstock, aged 74, of Siloam Springs, retired president of the Arkansas State Bank at Siloam Springs and retired president of Comstock Development Company, died Monday.
He also was a former vice president of Community State Bank of Tulsa, a former employee of McElroy Bank of Fayetteville and was a bank examiner for the U. S. Treasury Department. He was a staff member of the University of Arkansas business office, operated a real estate company in Harrison and the Outlook Investment Company.
He was a former member of the Siloam Springs City Council, past president of the Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce and was active in the Service Corps of Retired Executives.
Mr. Comstock was a World War II veteran, a member of the Rotary Club, a Presbyterian, a Mason, and a Shriner.
Survivors are his wife, Clare Burleson Comstock; two sons, Don Comstock of Lima, Peru, and David Comstock of Broken Arrow, Okla; a daughter Mary Alice Comstock of Corpus Christi; three brothers, K. M. Comstock of Springdale, John Jay Comstock of San Francisco, and Ira A. Comstock of St. Louis; a sister Jo Ellen McKim of Springdale, and two grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Fayetteville by Wasson Funeral Service.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
