She was widowed. Born 10 Aug 1886, Ouachita Co, AR, daughter of William Edward Wesson and Ann Dunman. Informant was David J. Burleson of Fayetteville. Buried Sep 28th, Fairview Cemetery, Fayetteville.

Mrs. Burleson, 77, Dies in Hospital
Mrs. Alice W. Burleson, 77, mother of State Representative David J. Burleson, died last night in a local hospital.
Mrs. Burleson was born in Ouachita County and was the widow of David Burleson who joined the faculty at the University as Extension agronomist in the College of Agriculture in 1924. She was a member of the First Baptist church.
Survivors in addition to her son of Fayetteville include a daughter, Mrs. G. E. Comstock of Siloam Springs and nine grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Moore's Chapel.
