Robert F. was possibly a doctor. A date of death as 9 Oct 1929 in St. Francisville LA is obviously wrong - Robert was deceased before his father's will written Aug 1831. He was in fact dead prior to November, 1826. Said to have married in Bowling Green KY, but that was also incorrect.

I found this marriage that I believe to be his in Logan Co KY. Robert Slaughter married Lucy B. Curd on 20 Sep 1821. She was the daughter of Major John Curd and she died Feb 1823, leaving an infant son.

Robert F. Slaughter & Jno Barnett had a mortgage on property of Arthur Slaughter. Release dated 3 May 1824.

Robert is said to have married a second time in Arkansas before going to Lousiana. The Curd book states he was deceased before 1826. Major John Curd stated in his application for reinstatement of his Revolutionary pension in November of 1826, that his grandson, Richard H. Slaughter, was living with him and that both his mother and father were dead.
