Logan Co Deed Book N, p.43. John Curd gave his daughter Lucy B. Slaughter now deceased a slave girl in 1821 which he now makes over to his grandson, her only heir, Richard Harris Slaughter. Lucy died in Feb of 1823. 25 Dec 1824.
