1777 A Mark Hardin, took the Oath of Allegiance, Pittsylvania Co, VA, which makes him Revolutionary Patriot.

Pittsylvania Land Tax Lists
1782 Tax List:
Mark Hardin, taxed on 200 acres
In 1785, Mark "Hardon" is shown as selling 275 acres to Jeremiah White.

It is a puzzle exactly who is the Mark Hardin who left tracks in Pittsylvania Co VA. There doesn't seem to be a Mark who married a Hannah.

I found the following deeds in Surry Co, NC - I believe they must belong to this Mark Hardin, as they seem too early to belong to Mark who married in Rockingham Co and some refer to Mark Sr. However, they overlap the records of the Mark Hardin found in Pittsylvania Co VA. The Mark who was a son of Henry would have had a brother named William.
